This policy explains what personal information Miovani collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Miovani is operated by KNEE RX, with its principal establishment in Valencia, Spain, and fulfilment operations in the United States.

What we collect
When you place an order: your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and order details. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number.
When you browse the site: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
When you contact us: whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you subscribe: your email address, and your phone number if you provide it.
Why we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your order
- To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and tracking
- To respond to your questions and handle returns
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To improve the site and our products
- To send marketing emails, if you have opted in
- To measure advertising performance
Legal basis (UK/EU customers)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (orders and delivery), on the basis of our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, site improvement, analytics), with your consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who need it to do their job:
- Shopify — our ecommerce platform and hosting
- Payment processors — to take payment securely
- Fulfilment and shipping partners — to make and deliver your order
- Email and marketing platforms — to send you order updates and, if opted in, marketing
- Analytics and advertising providers — including Meta and Google, to measure and target advertising
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site and process orders, plus analytics and advertising cookies where you have consented. You can manage or refuse non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

Marketing
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us. You'll still receive transactional emails about orders you've placed.
Children
Our store is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
